Giovanni Battista Gillardi bought Cascina Corsaletto at Farigliano in 1923 on returning from Provence.

Giacolino Gillardi planted the first Syrah in Piemonte in 1993, which became the flagship Harys, on a base of Dolcetto di Dogliani.
