Art. 3: the territory of 31 comuni of the province of Teramo (the Colline Teramane), from the Vibrata and Salinello valleys to the Vomano, on hillside/plateau sites up to 550 m (humid valley floors excluded). Geometry = comune-union of the 31 comuni (openpolis WGS84, 114.524 ha; the DOCG covers the qualifying hill vineyards within them).
