History
Peter Heilbron, a Milan native who held senior roles at Nestle, Perugina, Martini & Rossi and Heineken, left the corporate world in the mid-2000s to make wine.
Taking the late Gianfranco Soldera as his model, he bought about 23 hectares near Bevagna.
His energy-independent winery, built into the hillside, was completed in 2010; the estate makes about 2,000 cases a year.
