History
Domenico Adanti founded the winery in 1972, buying and restoring a former Celestine monastery and its abandoned vineyards, and the villa at Arquata.
In 1977 he brought in his friend Alvaro Palini to oversee the winemaking, helping shape a modern Sagrantino.
Today the estate is led by Daniela Adanti and her daughter Stella.
