History
The Monti family have made wine on Ischia since 1870, when Piero Monti began; Lucia Monti, the island's only woman winemaker, has led Cantine Tommasone since 2009.
It works about ten hectares, some 80,000 to 100,000 bottles, above all the Biancolella of Ischia.
