History
The Bonollo family, distillers since the early 1900s, planted Argillae on the eroded clay hills north of Orvieto in the mid-1980s.
Now led by Giulia Di Cosimo and farmed organically, it makes the Orvieto and Umbria whites from native grapes on the calanchi soils.
